Whew am I glad to be home. Went to work this morning in the rain which then turned to freezing rain as we went then the snow started! Plows were just getting going around 2:00 p.m.
whoa... that is a lot of snow... We never got any.. it was windy and rainy this morning, but it was mostly all petered out by noon... I couldn't believe it when I was talking to a shop at Hopewell Cape and the woman said "schools were cancelled and the storm is absolutely terrible" ... you should be here on the coast... glad you made it home safely!!
Hi Gwen, First - as always - I too wish I were on the coast. Second - I too was glad to be home. I traveled back with a co-worker in a Jeep. Thanks again 'Pinkie' & Josh! Third - Yes, the schools will most likely be closed tomorrow too if we get what they are predicting. They had this one 'bang on'. (I am so tired from 'going' that the other had errors/thus I removed).
