April Fools Day always brought Daffidils and more to my Grammie's house. Today would have been her 92nd Birthday. She passed away in July 1999. We miss you Great-Grammie Ione as she was called when my daughter was younger. (She was our 'original' Red Hatter)

nice for you to have these old pictures... I remember those plaid pleated skirts...
I am sure that few can say this, but she was my best friend. If only I were more like her in ways that I am not, she never said something unkind of someone nor to someone. I found 'Black Rose' to be much like her in mannerisms and such...ways I can't really articulate entirely.
I miss her all the time.
