Pay Day

Black Rose and I made a day trip to the University
to make the final payment for her first semester.
We wanted to have as much done prior to
 'arrival' day as possible.
So, we trekked to the Registrar's Office,
got her IDs done,
confirmed her Residence info
and then
hit the road for home.

Along the way, we visited a couple
of roadside stands. We got
some wonderful corn on the cobb,
Home made Ginger cookies,
cucumbers and more.

We also stopped at Casey's Diner for lunch.
This fellow welcomed us in.  (love the coca cola machine).

Here's a FEW photos of what we found inside.

And the food was great too!
Another great day had with Black Rose.

The Beauty in Fog

I was recently out early morning.  It was a beautiful foggy morning
one on which I need not hurry.  So, I took my
trusty camera and headed to the
wharf.

I saw birds I didn't know.
I found things I hadn't seen.
I heard ....nothing.
My senses, each keen.

I looked about at the fishing boats,
more closely than I had before.
I wanted to check out the Wharf
at low tide . It's the lowest this time of year.

I wanted to see more, in this mysteries view,
but the fog began to roll once again.

Fundy Trail Parkway

I know I always tell you how much time we have spent
But I would like to share a few photos taken this week.

We call our GPS - baby. The car has it's on Travel Bug called 'KIAn 2 Cache'
because it's a KIA and we are keen to go geocaching.

The hanging baskets are on the porch of the Interpretive Centre.
The tide is just changing so it's starting to come in.

On a short hike on one of the many trails,
we found these.

An All Day Geocaching Day

There is a local challenge going on in the Geocaching World
here - I think I mentioned it previously.
We have to go to 4 separate national and private Parks
and find 2 specific geocaches within each location.
We need to find the 'cache' take a photo of a specific
area/item and include in the photo ourselves
or our GPS - guess which I chose.

A Day on the dusty back roads -
see below for a visual.

We load up the GPS with Cordinates.

We find a foundation of an old School house.

We pass a Church in the middle of what seems to be 'no where'
as we traval 'across county' by way of an 'old road'.

We check out an old lodge on a lake and find this old stove.

In another Lodge -- Ohhh, look at that!

A pond said to have been created by the ice-age
that's reported to be 20 meters deep.
No wonder they say it's 'bottomless'.

The Beav looking for a cache along the route
within the Fundy Trail Parkway.

Up there somewhere is the car that I am to be following
as he has the GPS that 'talks' LOL.

An old friend whom Blossom has not seen in 4 years
arrives for a vist when we get back.

Looking in the mirror,
it's been a great dusty drive (200+ km).

"KIAn 2 Cache" needs a bath, don't you think?
My car is normally Pearl White and with Hub caps.

Thanks Lord for another great day with folks that mean much!
