Well, we continue through to the next room. My Office has been cleared, painted and put back together – with the addition of the love seat; therefore, making it into a sitting room as well. I then decided the hall looked ‘dingy’ so I painted it. The living room also has new paint on 1 wall -only 3 more to go. The Kitchen has 1 strip (to decide if we like the color in there) done and then it’s on to the bathroom.
Why is it that once you begin such a simple project as painting that it turns into a whole new adventure? Did I just say adventure, I meant challenge. Well, I enjoy change as much as the next person……….but surely to goodness we can hold off on painting the entire house!!!!!! LOL
Wahoo I love having a teen who likes to help, especially when you consider that she multi-tasked the first day by leaning her hair into the newly painted wall. I guess she felt the pink in her hair wasn’t enough color (sorry hon, I couldn’t resist). Maybe Gwen is correct in thinking it will spark a new trend of ‘highlighting the highlights’.
Well, I am off again – paint will only sit so long in the paint try before drying.
“Make hay while the sun shines” as they say. In my case, it’s while I have a day off and help besides.

LOL it's no longer pink lol.... I'm like orange and blonde now... as scary as a thought that is... lol well I'm gonna try not to highlight my highlights again... never give me a paint brush and say go with it... never know what's going to end up being painted... my hair, the WRONG wall... maybe even the dog... lol
Well Chickadee don't get too excited because as you would have read, we are not done yet. Muahahah (mom's evil laugh that is folks)

You know the thing about painting.. it really gives a boost after you're done.. It feels so fresh... with all the changes you are making, You guys will feel as if you moved without moving... cool..
I really gotta do some spring cleaning.. maybe I'll start making our dogs wear plastic bags with only their head and legs sticking out so all their #&*^$%$%#@@# hair stays contained.. I swear I could spin enough yarn to make a sweater or two from the stuff they let fly...
