Friendship

Friendship is a sheltering tree. - Samuel Coleridge

Thank you 'Bud' for checking on my family tonight.  There was a fire in the campground where my family has a seasonal site.  My family and our unit is safe, however, another was badly damaged.  Such a fright when a trailer within a campground catches fire - so much can happen with all of those propane tanks.  The fear is always in the back of your mind, although if you dwelled on it, it would drive you crazy.

Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life. - Mark Twain

Thank you Cinner. A local family with whom we have become good friends called to check on us. The wonder of cell phones! He also arrived to check things out (teens - like adults so caring and curious).

Thank you everyone.

Dolores - thank you, I love this picture too it's another from the Fundy Trail.

So true Gwen - I have always said things are just that 'things' it's people that we can't replace. Thanks again to your family for your concern and taking the time to drop a line and stop by. We so appreciate it.

I understand that the lady whose trailer was damaged had sold her home. So many of the seniors are doing that. They sell their home in the Spring and staying at the campground the summer while they search for new living quarters that are smaller and such.
