I have always loved old bridges, I am thrilled to find out we have them in our own country. I have only ever visited OR lived in Western Canada...I really have to check out the Maritime provinces, take care.
It is a stunning photo.

Thank you everyone for your visit and kind words. It took weeks to get this one 'just right'. I kept going back as I was looking for the waters to be calm. It wasn't a 'calm' time for me and I wanted a photo that would perhaps 'lighten the load' when I looked at it. Thanks again everyone - Happy Canada Day.

That's not one of St. Martin's bridges, though, is it? I was given a box of photos of NB bridges several years ago...someone picked it up at an auction. It's on my to-do list to visit each one and photograph it for a then/now.

Thanks for the 'oceansounds' this morning - what a lovely way to start my day. :-) Feels like I'm in St. Martin's.

PS: Stay tuned for my big news coming soon...

Deb! So nice to see you, I have missed you. No, this one is close to Riverview (now that the gates are open it's not so full). I have more pictures of covered bridges - I must post some more along the sidebar.

Beautiful day here today!

Can't wait for your big news!!! Hoping to meet this month - trying to work out my schedule.
