University Visit and overnight stay

Well, Black Rose had her University Tour and we made it a 2 day trip with an overnight stay in Abbey Glen Riverfront B&B.   You know me and doors.  Take note of the ceilings too.  The left leads to a bathroom and the right is the opposite end of the hall leading back to the stairway.

A couple of the rooms - some have 2 twin beds.

Our Hostess was a DOLL!  We will be back.

It's Official

Black Rose has been accepted to the University of her choice with a 95% entrance average. If she didn't look and act so much like us, I would wonder to whom she belongs.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are so proud of you! You have earned the positive things that people have written within their recommendation letters.

AWESOME!! Wahooo - jump, jump. Wahoo - clap, clap!

Anthropologists seek to describe the inner workings of human social groups and to understand how and why societies change over time. Anthropologists seek to foster an approach that is at once critical and engaged.

Archaeology approaches past human cultures through what they have left behind: material culture or artifacts; ecofacts, including animal bones and plant remains; architectural features and even cultural landscapes, like settlement systems or coastal zones. Bioarchaeologists specialize in the study of human remains.

But first.......she has to GRADUATE!

Well, the Graduation photos are officially ordered and should be in within a few weeks.

University and residency applications are in.

These, combined with my Christmas writing noted below, make it even more official.

I shall miss my best friend as she heads out of her new adventures. But, I wish her all the best in the future and am very proud of her accomplishments.

Black Rose has found a University that offers both of her 'loves'.

A few current research projects include excavations of:
* the early 17th-century English colony of Ferryland, south of St. John's
* prehistoric and historic sites in Nova Scotia
* regional sites containing 4500 years of First Nations, Paleoeskimo and Inuit settlement in southern Labrador

She could Major in one and Minor in the other she says!   Maybe she'll join the rank of "A" as in become 'A'nthropologist or "A"rchaeologist.  Of course with us she already does!   Way to go on your AWESOME report!   An over-all grade average of  92.6% - is that possible in your grade level???!  I know it is luv, because you did it!   YOU ROCK GIRL.  We are SO PROUD of you.  No matter what you choose in life, we will always be proud of the lady that you have become.
