Black Rose and I drove past this area on our way to the Capital
about a year ago and saw the signs.
So, we came home and checked it out on the 'net'.
Since then, she has met Students that have worked at the site and the Museum nearby.

There is an internment camp museum in Minto.
Mr Cassie, a teacher and some of his students made a replica of the camp and dug at the site .
The items they found and ones donated by the public are all on display.

The museum is in Minto on Highway 10 or Pleasant Drive.
It's in the basement of the municipal building.
The museum is open in the summer and the guides explain everything to you.

You would need to make an appointment during the winter hours.
There are Geocaches within the area of once was the camp.
I have yet to get them, but will in this Spring.
