Heart Lodge

Hubby took me on a lunch date to Hearst Lodge -they will shuttle you
up to the Lodge or you can walk/hike.
We went just for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.
But if you decide to stay a night or two:
The Hearst Lodge will be your home base, living like American newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst and friends did, more than 50 years ago.

Live like American newspaper billionaire William Randolph Hearst when you stay at Hearst Lodge – a mix of rustic luxury and fabulous food near the world-famous Bay of Fundy, swim in one of the 22 salmon pools to be found along the stretch of river that leads to the lodge.

Anyone know what this was?

This fellow watched us watching him for a long time.

Then we returned from our walk along the River to sit a spell.
But if you choose to stay the night:
Dinner includes Bay of Fundy salmon served with seasonal vegetables, homemade rolls and dessert with local berries. After dinner, relax in the lodge living room and enjoy a fireside chat with your hosts. Wake up to a hearty breakfast of fresh eggs, bacon, homemade toast, pancakes and juice.
I can tell you Laura & George are great hosts and Laura is a terrific chef,

Please visit the Fundy Trail's Heart Lodge  site
for more information including a short video of the area.
