Baking

I don't know about you folks, but I am methodical when it comes to baking. First you get out all of the ingredients that you require for your recipe(s) measuring out the amounts you need. Then put away the original packaging from which you just measured. Therefore, leaving just your measured amounts. After that, you are off to 'dump' and bake. You also have to clean up as you go along...so you don't have a BUNCH of dishes left over.
In this picuture I have just completed baking biscuits (on the cupboard next to the molasses. After all, what are hot biscuits without molasses right?. My shells have been baked for the buttertarts which is the mixture in the bowl waiting for the tarts to cool down enough. If you look closely, you will also see my newest 'treasure find' that I needed in order to reach the oil, molasses, and a few other baking supplies.
But now, I have to scrub the floor. Why you ask? Well, of course - I dropped an egg! :-( But salt works great in assisting with the clean up. You shake a bunch of salt on the egg and 'poof' so much easier to scoop up.
Well, until next time. I am off to scub and then get a hair cut. Then back to finish up my buttertarts before everyone has a chance to eat them all on me. Toodles.
