Explorations and Reflection

Duck Pond Road is found in Gardner's Creek (I told you there would be more from here). This is spot that has changed over the years - as with any ocean properties. This 'division' didn't used to be there.
We explored and contemplated life's "mis-steps" and hoped for forgiveness. Have you ever said something that you wish you could snatch right back?
Reinhold Niebuhr:
Nothing worth doing is completed in our lifetime. Therefore, we are saved by hope.
Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history. Therefore, we are saved by faith.
Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone. Therefore, we are saved by love.
No virtuous act is quite as virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as from our own. Therefore, we are saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

Gwen, this is another of my favorite photos from this summer. I love Duck Pond Road. We shall once again return to this point - maybe we will see you there climbing among the rocks or strolling along the ocean's floor at low tide.
