Blessings

I was thinking of Graduation today.
How important this step is in a young persons life.
The time with friends and family,
the food, the laughter and the pride.

And in that frame of mind,
I visited the grave of a young women whom I have never met.
A young woman that fell in love,
got married,
has 3 children
and was taken from this world a young woman.

Each  Sibling has already achieved many accomplishments in their young lives.

The oldest will be graduating from High School this month.
Heading off  to attend  College.
The others have each entered High School.

Our families have met at a number of functions over  the years.
One of whom has touched our lives closely.

As I knelt down to visit with her,
I told her how proud we are of each of them.
How they have made us laugh and have touched our hearts with tears.

Young Man,
we are 'uber' proud of you!!!
Of  your past achievements as well as future ones.
You will know we are at your graduation by our "Whoop" and our cheers.

To friendships

CONGRATULATIONS

Tea anyone?

My mother's day gift.

A Tea pot and cup within 1.
What a wonderful idea!

We made enough for the two of us
and then made some more
to have as 'iced tea'.

Still Mine

We have 'taken' you to St. Martins by photos,
come see the area through film.
This is based on a true story of a fellow who lives in St Martins.

Still Mine Movie Synopsis

Craig Morrison (James Cromwell), a farmer in rural St. Martins, New Brunswick, is used to doing things for himself. Somewhat cantankerous and stubborn, with the help of his wife, Irene (Geneviève Bujold), he's managed to keep his farm going using traditional methods despite the domination of industrial agriculture in the marketplace.
When Irene's health begins to fail, Craig, a skilled carpenter, realizes he has to build a new home for them to live in, to make it easier for her to get around. But when a government inspector makes it his personal mission to halt construction on the new house, Craig has to fight for his right to build their final home.
Based on a true story.
